Tatu: Futebol, Cultura, Adversidade da Caatinga

Opens today, at the Museu de Arte do Rio, the group exhibition Tatu: Futebol, Cultura, Adversidade da Caatinga, a tour through the armadillo’s culture, mascot of this World Cup. Despite the stereotyped version of the animal, the show, curated by Paulo Herkenhoff and Eduardo Frota, discusses the carnality of the animal, his habitat and the culture related to it. Football is, therefore, observed from a different perspective. Raul Mourão, Cildo Meireles, Nelson Leirner and Lula Wanderley are some of the artist taking part in this exhibition. Until September 21st.
